Biography:

Dr Glenney is a licensed physical therapist with over 25 years of experience primarily in the areas of geriatrics and adult rehabilitation. She received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, a Master of Science in Allied Health from the University of Connecticut and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr Glenney is a Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). In addition to her experience as a practicing clinician, she has over 15 years of experience in higher education including program/curriculum development and assessment. Her teaching specialties are in the areas of geriatrics, adult rehabilitation, musculoskeletal pathology and health promotion/wellness. She has extensive experience and certifications in the areas of adult fitness and health promotion. Her scholarly interests include analyzing and contributing to research in the areas of geriatrics, health promotion and clinical education and she continues to practice in home health care.
